4. Legal Grounds and Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected by fully or partly automated means through electronic channels such as the forms on our website, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp. It is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

• It is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
• It is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç)
• It is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f)
• Your explicit consent, for newsletter mailings (Art. 5/1)

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to our suppliers providing website hosting, e-mail and IT services, to our business partners and regional dealers (to the extent needed to meet your request) and to legally authorised public institutions, in accordance with the conditions in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and the limitation periods set by the relevant legislation; when these periods end, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Your newsletter registration is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

As a data subject, you have the right to apply to our Company to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred
• Request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate
• Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK
• Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
• Object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

These rights are granted under Article 11 of the KVKK.

8. How to Apply

You can submit requests regarding your rights, together with documents proving your identity and in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, in writing to Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone, 20th St. No: 27, Çerkezköy / Tekirdağ, Türkiye or from your e-mail address registered in our system, or with a secure electronic signature, to info@sintas.com.tr. Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
